Privacy policy

The short version
I collect as little as this site can get away with: an email address if you sign up for drop news, whatever you type into a form if you send me one, and anonymous-to-me analytics about how people find and use the site. I don't sell any of it, I don't run ads, and there are no accounts. The rest of this page is the same story with the details filled in.
What I collect, and why
Your email address, if you sign up for merch drop notifications. It gets used for exactly one thing: telling you when something drops. It's stored with the service that sends my email, and every message includes a one-click unsubscribe; using it removes you from the list immediately.
What you send through the forms. The brand form asks for your name, company, work email, and message; the crew application asks for your name, email, portfolio link, and pitch. Submissions arrive as email in my inbox. There's no database of them, and they're used to reply to you and nothing else.
Analytics. I use an analytics service to see which pages people visit, how they got here (for example, from an Instagram bio link), and roughly what device they're on. It collects this with cookies and identifiers and processes it under its own privacy policy. When a signup or form submission is counted, the count is sent without your name or email attached: the measurement is that a thing happened, not who did it.
Hosting and security. The site is served through a hosting and security provider, which processes IP addresses and request data to deliver pages and block abuse, and the forms use its bot check to screen out automated submissions. That check happens on their infrastructure under their privacy policy.
What I never do
I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it with anyone beyond the three services described above: the ones that send my email, measure traffic, and host the site. Each processes it only to do its one job. No data brokers, no third-party advertising, no lookalike audiences built from my list.
Cookies
The cookies on this site belong to the analytics service and the security layer. You can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker, and the whole site keeps working, including the signup and the forms. It was built that way on purpose.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the email list at any time using the link in any email. Beyond that list and anything you've sent through a form, there is nothing here to hold about you: no accounts, no profiles, no database. If you want a copy of the little that exists, or want it deleted, email contact@braedendays.com and it's done. That covers the rights California residents have under the CCPA, and everyone gets the same treatment regardless of where you live. Asking never changes how the site treats you.
One limitation: this site doesn't respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Almost no site does, which is why the law asks me to say so plainly. Blocking analytics outright, as described above, is the stronger version of the same request and it fully works here.
Where the data lives, and for how long
The site is operated from the United States and information is processed there. Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Form submissions live in my inbox the way any correspondence does. Analytics data is retained on the provider's standard schedule and reported to me in aggregate.
Changes
If what this site collects ever changes (the shop launching is the obvious one coming), this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. The date is your signal that everything here is current.
